Frequently Asked Questions
First Appointment
You can expect the first appointment to take anywhere from 40-60 minutes which includes consultation, physical exam, thermography, and a full-spine x-ray. All new patients will have a full-spine x-ray with the exception of pregnant women and pediatric patients.

Do you take insurance?
Here at Maillette Family Chiropractic we try to be as accommodating as possible, and we do our best to not let finances be a reason a patient cannot receive care, so we are in network with many insurances including Medicare. We are always open to honest conversations about finances and Julie and Erin are always prepared to answer any questions you may have.

If I don't have pain, why would I see a Chiropractor?
Chiropractic is about function and health here at Maillette Family Chiropractic. We love to see patients for different ailments like headaches, migraines, indigestion, PMS, bedwetting, ear infections, colds, colic - and so much more! We want to get your body to its best function by removing interference from the nervous system. Research shows that only about 18% of the nerves that exit from the spine signal for pain, the rest are functional, this is why pain is never a good indication of spinal health.

If I go to a Chiropractor once, will I have to go forever?
Chiropractic care is the best approach to removing subluxations for the nervous system, which allows for improved function and longevity in your health. Here at Maillette Family Chiropractic, we want you to utilize Gonstead care for as long as it serves you! We do not have patient contracts, we offer our clinical recommendation, educate our patients, and then place it upon our patents to hold themselves accountable and be their own advocates for their health!
